How it works

Expert real estate Service with a commitment to give back.

01. pick your cause.

We all stand for something. Let's partner together and live to make a difference. Choose from our list of partners or nominate your own.

02. Sell/buy your mission home.

Turn your home into a Mission Home. You'll receive the same unbeatable level of service and it will have an impact far beyond the sale.

03. portion donated at closing.

Nothing changes on your end. You will receive the same unbeatable level of service. The difference is, at closing, a portion of the transaction is directed toward vetted organizations.

F.A.Q.

Does working with mission homes cost me extra?

Absolutely not. The sales process when working with Mission Homes will feel familiar, with an enhanced level of service.
The main difference is that a portion that would normally be collected from the earned sales commission is donated to the charity of your choice, which is discussed as part of the listing presentation/buyer consultation.

What can i expect in our first meeting?

The initial meeting is a fact finding one. It will be a conversation about your goals, timeline, and situation. We’ll walk through how Mission Homes works, answer questions, and determine whether it’s a good fit — no pressure or obligation.
You can expect me to:

  • Measure each room.
  • Take interior and exterior photos.
  • Jot down key features about the home.
  • Discuss your motivation for moving.
things you can expect me to ask
  • What improvements have you made in recent years?
  • What are your utility costs?
  • Are there any special assessments such as sewer?
  • Are you able to supply a copy of your property survey? Your deed? Title policy?

In short, I'll want to find out as much as I can about your home and your motivations for selling so that I can come back with (1) a pricing recommendation and (2) a customized marketing plan that will work hard to help get your price.

things you can expect to ask me

You should feel comfortable asking about the process, pricing, marketing approach, timelines, and how the mission component works. Transparency is important to us.

  • Are there things I can do to make my home worth more in the eyes of buyers without spending a log of money?
  • Should major appliances be included in the sale?
  • What is a "seller disclosure"?
  • Will I get advanced notice whenever my house is shown?
  • Is every buyer going to want a home inspection?
  • Do you advise putting a Realtors' "lock box" on my house? How is my security protected?

Whatever your concerns, don't hesitate to talk to me about anything that's on your mind. If you're under any time constraints to sell, you may want to discuss that as well.

what happens next?

When we meet again in a few days, I'll lay out my entire strategy for helping you get the best possible price for your home and we'll take an in depth look at the current state of the market, which will allow us to extract the most value from your home.

can i nominate my own org?

Absolutely.
Our team is continually making connections with local charities/organizations and we are proud to call them partners. If you have a connection to a cause/charity/organization that is not listed, please feel free to nominate them as the beneficiary for your transaction. Subject to basic vetting and eligibility.
